1. When did you become a Christian?

When I was young, I went to church with my mother and grandparents. I attended Sunday School. Listened to the teacher about stories in the Bible. But most of the time, I was just excited to play with my friends. 

 At the age of 12, I studied at a Catholic school. We prayed the rosary every October and our teachers gave us assignments about the life of the saints. I went to the library to research. For four years in High school, I've learned more about the life of the saints but my knowledge about God was shallow. 

It was in year 2002 that i came to know Jesus Christ. I went to Mindanao State University-Main Campus for college. This school is in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur where 90% of the residents are Muslims. I lived in an apartment with my two sisters. Our roommates were Christians. Some accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior when they were also in their first year of college while others are already Christians, 3 are Pastor's Kids. My older sister also accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior before I enter college.

2. How did you come to know Christ as your personal Lord and Savior?

In the apartment where I lived during college, we had weekly devotionals and one-on-one Bible studies. We also went to Church every Sunday in Agape Christian Fellowship, one of the Campus Ministries in the MSU.

At first, I was reluctant in going to church with them and in the Bible studies. I tried to avoid and I tried to make alibis.Then the seed (Word of the Lord) planted in my heart started to grow within me and God answered the prayers of my BS leaders. I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior during one of our Bible Study.

I thank God for my Bible Study Leaders who prayed for me and even cried for me.
